Katie Tappy

It is with great sadness that we report that Katie Tappy passed away on the morning of the 24th April.

Katie first appeared on stage with HIADS in 1972 and was involved in all areas of production from acting to set building, costumes, directing and also authored many pantomimes. 
She also had two stints as Chairman in 1993-1995 and 2009-2011. Her last production was in 2012 with the brilliant "Calendar Girls" in which she both directed and acted.  Unfortunately ill health prevented her from getting involved in any further productions although she would attend social events whenever she was able.

Katie will always be remembered as a real power house of enthusiasm and scatter brained good spirits and will be missed by all those that knew her. 

Katie's funeral will take place at 1pm on Monday 3rd June at The Oaks Crematorium, Havant.
